Thx mlavander But I was trying to learn how to make my own templates using Photoshop CS3.
Anybody? know how to make templates using the shape tool and the open a picture and just drag and drop it into that shape box with out cropping the picture?
Not sure this is quite what you are looking for, but maybe try FotoFusion. I just got it and am planning on using it for albums, but it sounds like it would work for you.
I just bought, "Wedding Album Design in Photoshop CS3 ". It's on the way in the mail, it supposedly steps you through all the details in Photoshop, and you have it on DVD in 17 sessions so you can always go back and refresh.

Maybe if you do a search. It was a while ago but they had some good stuff.
