Hey Doc! Perfect object to shoot for this assignment. Is this the Michigan Ave side? I like this low angle, and the the stairs! Excellent shot.
Thanks, Jim. Yes, the reflection is of Michigan Avenue on the right (the bright white and lights on the right side of the "bean" is the skating rink), and the left side of the reflection is mainly Randolph St. I shot this from the northwest side of the sculpture. Thanks for stopping by.--Frank

Frank! This is awesome. It looks so futuristic and cool. Love the colors and the HDR effect (I presume). Looks like a painting, but in a neat way!
Thanks, so much, Bev. I just took this tonight with no HDR intended, but since you mention it, the reflected color from the tiles and city lights gives it that appearance. --Frank
Beautiful shot. In fact I think the Chicago Tourism Dept. would care to get their hands on this shot. I can't think of anything else to say other then "WOW!"
Time for the rest us to start planning for next week
Whoa! This one rates very high on the coolness scale!
Great exposure. The stair lines add great perspective.
Very intriguing; it really holds my interest.

Thanks, so much, Carrol. I wondered about the stairs and appreciate your affirmation.--Frank
WOW. What an amazing shot. There is so much to look at, yet the shot does not "wander" I agree with Carrol, that the stairs just complete an already beautiful shot. Even the moon? is in a great spot in the reflection! Great entry. -amy

Thank you, Amy. The "bean" at Millennium always provides a nice subject.--Frank
Wow is right! Much better than any tourism pictures I have seen. You should submit it to them for a high $!!! I agree the stairs are perfect in the composition. The sky looks like a backdrop. Great sharpness. Did you adjust any color? A winner for sure!
Jamie
Beautiful Frank, we can’t ask for a better ‘reflections’ subject!
Great use of the foreground on the composition…
The moon’s reflection adds the icing on the cake!

Thanks, so much, Jamie. Color was saturated a bit.--Frank
