p.1 #1 · Sertoma Butterfly House - First Macro Shots
This is my first post here. I got a Canon 100mm macro and some extension tubes in December. I had my first chance to try my hand at macro shooting earlier this week at a butterfly house in Sioux Falls, SD, while I was there visiting my mother-in-law. I must say that I can see me forming quite a habit shooting macro. It is quite a challenge, but it is a blast.
I have been looking at this forum for quite some time now, and have been amazed at some of the photos I have seen here. You can expect to see more posts from me in the future. Please, any C&C, negative or otherwise is totally welcome. I barely know what I am doing really. So, I would love to receive as many tips and as much advice as possible. Thanks to those that make this forum available.

One of the things I really enjoy (other than the wonderful photos) is seeing what equipment (more specifically) what lens is used. What macro lens (and camera) are you using?
p.1 #13 · Sertoma Butterfly House - First Macro Shots
I am not sure how this post was found, as it was my first post here, and posted earlier this year. I have been around the forum some since February, albeit, not daily. But, thanks for the comments William and Kenny. It is funny to look at these shots, and embarrassing at the same time. I wish I knew what I know now when I was taking these, as I think I could have taken some pretty cool shots. But, that is all a part of the learning process.
