Hi Doug
Well, when it's good, it's real good! And boy what a day you had here. There is a lot to like but there are a couple of stunners here, #3 that glimmer in the eye and oh so close, #6 mirror image, #7 downright gnarly looking, #8 red/white/blue and that single eye stare is awesome, amazing and ALL beautiful.
Karl
Thank you for the kind words Karl, appreciate you taking the time to stop by.

Looks like you had an awesome day out there Doug. All the images are great but #6 is spectacular. Thanks for sharing these awesome images with us.
These are some of the best Eagle shots I have ever seen. Between you and Les there is no two that are better - pro or amateur at least in my book. Stunning work!!

Thank you for the more than generous comments Brian, being mentioned in the same sentence as Les is a bit much, but thank you anyway!

OMG, another super amazing series Doug. But those two acrobatic shots are breath-taking. One of these days, I would like to visit this place during the winter just for the chance to photograph the eagles...
Thank you for the comments Thang, just let me know when you want to come out, you're welcome anytime.

Excellent shots and really like #6 what river was this, and what lens was used. You got the action nailed down with very sharp image too. Hope you did get froshbitten.
Thanks jcsdra. These were all taken on the Mississippi River and I used the 500mm with a 1.4tc. As far as getting frostbite, no it was only 0 degrees, but I came real close last year when it was -18 F., that was a little nippy!
