Someone on dpreview coined the term phart meaning photo art - ie a picture that has been heavily PP'd. I do this to pictures I don't particularly like, to see if I can get something I do like

I think the first one could be printed large and framed

I thought the second one was a shot of a sperm sample until I took a closer look...

Let me guess, the first one is neon lights and poster edges?

#1 is a shot of dewdrops on a hairy leaf. Shot was inverted and then a faded glowing edges applied followed by a faded flood filter.

#2 Is a dried leaf with a faded edge detect applied - the colour is just about unchanged.
