Caught this fullmoon setting during sunrise. The dead cottonwood has made way for new life to begin from the broken trunk.

Stunning surrealism Klaus! Top notch composition.
On a technical note, I think this might benefit from a click more sharpening, looks like it lost a bit of it's sharpness in re-sizing for the web.

Very nice catch and great B&W !

I feel like a closer crop would make the birth of this new tree more evident (for the WA) but as a landscape it's just superb !
