p.1 #1 · fuji printers

i found the ask-2000 and the ask-4000...

I was looking at fuji printers because i loved the quality of the fuji printer from the portrait studio i work at.

however.....i want to find a printer that combines both of these printers...the ask-4000 only prints 8x10 and 8x12, i wish it did all sizes up to 8x12.......the ask-2000 does everything i would need except 8x10 and 8x12. i dont want to buy one of each printer...

as far as I know fuji doesnt have similar that does all the sizes i need without moving up to the frontier line or the commercial printers.....plus i couldnt find the prices of the frontiers or the commercial printers.....anyone know the prices? for example on a fuji frontier LP5500

i am open to other options: (just browsing right now, not looking at an immediate purchase)

Lots of questions: anticipated volume, maximum size, preferred surfaces, budget?/////

Epson is the big name in home inkjet printers, but Canon and HP are nipping at their heels in some categories. Suggest you look at these manufacturers.

As I mentioned, I am just browsing at the moment, not looking to buy right away...so I don't know what my answers would be to those questions above.

anticipated volume would probably be low for the start, just personal use. but i anticipate greater volume in the future...

maximum size 8x12 or 10x13 or something in that range, then anything larger i could outsource, mpix or whcc.

preferred surfaces, matte paper? as i personally am not a fan of glossy. not too picky on this topic.

budget is flexible.
