Hi, i know this lens (carl zeiss jene prakticar 35mm MC f/2.4) was made in several different mounts, not all of which can be converted to canon EOS. I'm having trouble telling which lens is which mount, what are the cosmetically differences between mount types? It is my understanding that it was made in an m-42, B-mount (non canon compatible), and pentacon six aka bayonet mount. How do you tell them apart? Do all three say prakticar? Thanks.

No, they don't all say Prakticar. My M42 mount version reads Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon which is the one you would want to look for.
