On thursday, the 8th, I ordered mine about 9am, mnt tme-, from Dell, over the phone, using a 20% coupon# that I got from a "friend", and a 10% "stackable", I bought for $10 off ebay w/paypal the night before.
I haven't yet recieved any shipping info(other than the stated 3-5 weeks, w/ expected ship date of Dec 5th), so I think they sold-out on what they had in stock.
Hopefully, that means a new batch will get in from Canon, and be good-to-go, new&improved, reissue models. --Hopefully...-

It's November 13th - I'm ready to buy a 1DmkIII and a dell 30" LCD. From what I can tell on the Dell site, I have until the 15th to order the camera with 10% off, making it $4,050. On Ebay I see a stackable 10% off coupon expiring on the 14th.
Is there any other deals still left to take advantage of?
I can't find any info on the 20% coupon, but suspect it expired on the 8th?
I went for it. Bought the stackable 10% off coupon and it applied to the 1DmIII which had a 10% off all ready as a standard Dell promotion.
Total price for the camera was $3645
I also bought the Dell 30" LCD which was 17% off plus the 10% coupon making it a deal at $1,045
So the camera was 20% off and the display was 27% off. No tax to Alaska. Shipping was $90.
Estimated ship date on the camera is 12/7/07. But it sounds like people are often getting them earlier than predicted so I'll hope for the best.
As of this posting, the 1D3 is not on the Dell website. Does this mean they no longer carry it, or simply that they are out of stock and have none to sell?
