This is a magnificent shot. Beautifully done. It looks more like a painting than a photograph. My pick of the litter (Forgive me. ) this week.

Thank you Karen. I was hoping the fall colors in my yard would reflect and they did, and matched the cat's coat quite well. (lucky with that one)

Thanks robert.........the window glass lent itself nicely to some mild distortion
(we live in a very old house with quite a bit of old glass). I didn't apply any PS paint-type technique.

He is to be found assisting me in many endeavors, especially when I'm alone in the house. What you don't see is me dancing on my porch t keep his interest.

WHOOOOA.....there was an edit of my image here in the forum!. It seems to be gone before I could reply. Please feel free to post further critique.....
If you didn't see the cropped image that was edited, it was only the bottom 1/2 of my scene.
My response was going to be.......

I also looked at the scene cropped that way (only the bottom half), as well as even a single pane of glass, as well as more of the structure which actually is our front door window.
In my opinion the 1/2 view made the cat appear to be up against a small window in some sort of wall, and it felt claustrophobic to me. The way i posted the image gives me more of a window feel and I liked the continuation of the tree limbs in the stark upper 1/2.
so...there you have it.
Thanks for the idea and critique, It makes for an interesting crop as well!

The reflection captured in the glass is very colorful, it makes me wonder if that is what Jack is intent on watching. Well done!
