Thanks, Steve, my friend! It's always so good to hear from you! So glad you like it. I hope you'll like the replacement even more. Godfather, eh? Yikes! Am I that old? :worried:
All best wishes,
Endre

Very clever, well done, beautiful daughter, and NOTHING NEW from the excellence you bring us all. The Godfather up here!!!
Hello Endre,
A very ellegant shot, The long beads and peacock feathers gives it an old time feeling. Makes for a nice juxtaposition for this modern shot. Well done, I like this alot.

Masterful, maestro! Love the replacement. Whatever will you do when your models grow up and leave home? I know, you'll be in the same boat as many of us here! lol ;-)
Thanks, Nick, my friend! You said my favoritre workd when describing a photo - "elegant". i'm so glad you like it.
Fond regards,
Endre

Two comments on the same thread! Thanks so much, Bev, my dear! I agree that the replacement is better.
Csilla is almost all grown up already. Fortunately, Katalin is 9 and Eva is only 6 so there may be awhile yet before I run out of models. :worried:

Thanks, HH! I always look forward to your kind comments. Glad you like it.
it helps that the kids have always been homeschooled so there isn't all the peer pressure to be snotty teenagers. We've always treated them as autonomous beings, but part of that is growing up with the sense of responsibitity to others in the house. In this case it was easy to get Csilla to pose since she loves to dress up (she wants to be costume designer) and have her photo taken. She made the dress in one afternoon. It helps to have a daddy who she knows will take a good portrait. She's already posted the B & W version of this as the main photo on her "My Space" page. - which, I'm proud to say, is quite sophisticated. The background music she chose for it is Alexander Scriabin's "Poem" for solo piano. I must say, I was floored when I heard it, especially since immediately after that she went to visit the "My Space" page of her best friend, who's background music is a country / western song.
All best wishes,
Endre

Nothing else to add to what has been said. How do you get them to pose for the shots? My dogs are more coopertive than my kids ever were as teenagers.
I know that, Steve, my friend! I was just teasing you!
All best wishes,
Endre
