My first time taking a long exposure, and my first photo posted to the board. I am a total amateur and have found the info and photos I have found here to be incredible. I hope to continue to learn more and will hopefully one day be able to have images half as nice as most of those posted here.
I was hoping to get a flag which I drove by the other night that was lit, but very dimly and was blowing really well in the breeze. I didn't have time to stop and take the picture that night, and I was not sure shooting from a supermarket parking lot looking at the power and gas company at close to midnight would be the best idea with the way security is these days. When I drove by tonight, there was no breeze and the flag was laing totally flat and could barely be seen anyways so I rested my camera on the roof of my truck and snapped a few pics looking over the side of my house. I liked the strange shadows cast from the neighbors lights and the nice clouds that were blowing by overhead.

Your link should work fine w/o having to do a subscription. I clicked on your link and copied the link to my clipboard, then clicked on the "add a frame to your picture" link (see below) and pasted your link and clicked on OK and then clicked on the send reply button (also see below). You may want to re-edit your first entry and retry adding the picture there? I would if I were you. If it works, you can delete the one I added for you.
