I've also had pretty good luck with Kenmore Camera (SR522 in the Kenmore/Bothell area). They're not as big as Glazer's, but sometimes they have have stuff that Glazer's doesn't particularly bags. Glazers has more volume, but it seems like Kenmore has a better variety.

Have to say I bought my Mark 3 at Kenmore, with a focus issue they were not helpful at all other than sending it off. I don't think I would buy from them ever again.

Sorry to laugh about your plight, but it's kinda funny that I was in there tonight... I asked (just for kicks) about their experience with 1D3's. The guy told me the only focus issue they had reported was one of his friends and his problem was fixed by updating the firmware. They've also been slightly cocky/rude on one or two other occasions. I'm 25, so I guess they don't expect me to be a big spender... They're always focusing on selling Grandma/Grandpa a rebel kit instead of helping me and I pretty much had to beg them to sell me the 16-35II...

Still, if I can't find it at Glazers, and I don't want to wait for B&H, then Kenmore is still a good option to me. I just know to go in with limited expectations, and try not to buy big-ticket items. Today I bought a bunch of Ilford paper in 5x7 size that I've never seen at Glazers.

yeah I am sure they just happen to forget. Very happy to take your money and say they bend over backwards for you. Truth is the only bending was me as bent over!

The only knock I have against Kenmore Camera is their unwillingness to dicker on price. I usually look at gear then ending up buying it at B&H. I did buy a camera and lens there so I don't feel that I'm taking advantage of them.

One thing to remember, and this is for Glazer's also, is that Washington is a sales tax state, with rates ranging from 8.6 to 8.8% depending on location.

Well as a follow up to my experience with Kenmore, they did step up to the plate. After we sent it in I tested it and still soft focus. The owner saw my pictures and made a call to the canon rep and got it exchanged. Now I have to test this to see how it does but I feel much better now. Good to see that customer service is still there.

As other people of have said, Glazers and Kenmore are the best bets in the Seattle area. Kenmore's prices (at least on SLRs and lenses) seem to be a bit better.

Pro Photo Supply in Portland, Or is also very good. Their pricing seemed very good when I was down there. No tax either!
