The sun is not a prop, I really went outside Thank you for all your posts on my previous image. I felt the original name worked for this shot as well, so I kept it.
Yup! Another winner, Mike. You're too good! Oh well...
Actually, I can't enter anything this week. (What a drag! ) Yesterday, I played a Haydn Violin/Cello Duo at a dear friend's wedding and also shot the all the photos. My daugher, Csilla, did the shooting while I was playing. (Ironically, he was the photographer who shot my wedding 20 years ago!) Anyyway, after the reception as we were leaving he asked if I could use several of the unopened bottles of wine since he and his bride don't drink any alcohol. I said, "Sure" and set my camera bag down on the ground while I took the 6 bottles to the car. Unfortunately, I completely forgot about the camera bag until I got home and realized it was back at the wedding, which by then, had packed up entirely. Fortunately, my friend had immediately found it and put it into his car. Unfortunately, he and his bride are driving to Northern California for their Honeymoon, so I'm without a camera until he gets back.
Sorry I got a little behind on my replys. I wanted to say thank you to you guys for your kind words and support. I was frustrated with this WA but I did not want to give up. I am happy with the new image so now I can rest and enjoy all of your work.
To my friend Endre, I am so glad your camera and gear are safe! We all look forward to your next entry!
Just beautiful Vipermike,
You've nailed the WA with this entry. The setting sun, behind an hour glass that is a powerful symbol of time being measured and time passing. It's a beautiful shot and composition.
