I know that this thread may cause some stirs but I keep hearing more and more rumours about a new 6.3 Mpixels Nikon D70 SLR based on the F75 due for release early 2004. Has anyone out there heard the same rumours? Any confirmations on this?
Most of the D70 rumors spreading all over the Internet are originated from a Chinese digital photography forum, where the moderator clearly stated it was a masterpiece of boredom from himself - including the fake shot. Though I think the spec. could be very close to real ...
The same guy faked the 300D shot too ... you have to admit he is surely a master of Photoshop.
the rumours I heard come from pretty reliable sources though and it would make sense for Nikon to bring something like that out to compete with the 300D......
Come on ... now everyone knows the D70 is coming for sure since Nikon registered the model at USPTO!
