The original scene was extremely blue/cyan due to the distance, altitude and weather, that's why I always use KR3 or KR6 filters to remove light/deep blue haze and UV at this altitudes - onboard camera white balancing can't handle this very well and will just simply shift highlights to white but leave midtones and shadows with blue cast especially those one's that are nearer and blue cast on midtones on farther backgrounds - even with filtering, some blue cast still persist on farther side on the mountain... proper filter colour correction is still essential even in dslrs - we can't leave it all in automatic white balance.
Why is the sky tobacco-ish? The KR6 filter when paired with a dark grad, it shifts to red, so it looks like a tobacco filter, which adds mood to this scene No photoshopping, no cropping, just basic adjustments made only on NX2.3.2.

@robert829... thats a great shot of your daughter in the bucket. What a beauty!
@jhinkey... I love your shot of hurricane ridge. Last year I was there in Mid June and there was still 20 feet of snow at the top. Love the wildflower, thanks for sharing.
This thread is filled with winners, you all are very talented.
