What focal length do you use to shoot your panos with the 16-35?
This one was shot at 16mm, but I can shoot panos with any FL. The photomerge tool in CS5 is amazing! I don't even use a nodal rail and it stitches them up perfectly.
Haha thanks, I have no confirmation what building that is
It's part of the Singapore National Parks Gardens by the Bay project, looking at the map
The structures at the side (giant mushroom-like)
Maybe it's a gigantic greenhouse of some sort
Great shot JR. Was going to comment on Flickr but might as well here!
30mph east winds at the Superior shore! Damn cable release for 4x5 broke after two shots. 4 hour drive and I could only use digital... Was pretty awesome though.
Thanks Zach! And great shot! It's nice to see you back on the road for your landscapes! That's too bad about your cable release, but at least you brought 'backup' with your digital equipment!
I don't usually like selective color but in that shot it works really well. Perhaps because there is an overall tone to the photo. But I do like it!

Thanks JR! It was a lot of fun. Got off work at 12:30am - did an oil change - leave at 2:30am - ~3.5 hour drive to North Shore - take photos for 3 hours - come back with 10 minutes to spare before my tennis match at 1pm!

Sort of assuming it was towards my pic. Thank you very much. Reality was close to final, just tiny little more color around the umbrella.
