Zaitz, any word on Sadie?? I hope she comes home.
There has not been a single word. Everyone around knows about it. Several locals have helped. And we've been through the woods many times.

Yeah, I hate sad stories about pups.....the weather didn't look too friendly. Maybe someone took her in... (crossing fingers)Yeah the night she didn't come back in it snowed 6 inches. She doesn't 'run away' but something may have happened in the woods or on a road while chasing something. It's not unheard of for people to steal coonhounds and, unfortunately, that may be one of the best things that could have happened.
She did something similar before but was found 2 hours later by one of the parking areas because she knows that's where we come in.

Gary - I can't relate Looks fun though
Don't give up Zaitz and best of luck. Ryan - beginner skaters sometimes use a chair to hold on to while learning. My kids are both really good skaters but they were goofing around... I even took a turn.
Thanks for the comment JR. I didn't really plan that shoot and I only had a cheap tripod with me that day (a $50 Slik) Hopefully I can go back with a better tripod next time and take better shots
Here's a more "planned" shot from last year with a decent tripod
One thing I have to add.. I love the new lenses' Nano coating! I use a 16-35 f/4 and I think it's the best landscape lens ever. I'm sure the Nano coating has a lot to do with it, but its clarity is just amazing. The images it produces are very lifelike as if I'm looking at a window.
I'll throw one out here. I had posted this previously on the 'People' forum.
It's one of my favorite shots from 2010. My wife and son.
