This is Gandhi. He is approximately 6 years old. We can’t say for sure because he is a rescue dog with an obscure past. No matter, he’s my best buddy and rarely leaves my side. As Jess’ wonderful shot of Photon attests, those of us that can communicate with these guys are truly blessed. I hope you understand Gandhi’s message.

Oh Al, this is wonderful!! Gandhi is a gorgeous Golden (my favorite dog...my boyfriend has Golden's) and the message is clear. In fact, he looks like he really needs to go out NOW! There's desperation in his eyes. I'm looking at a finalist, for sure!
My dog speaks to me in many different ways as well. This is a very expressive shot and fits the assignment so well. Did you crop off the end of his tail or was the shot taken as is?

REALLY intersting composition Al.....the tall door and the leash out in front on the floor. My eyes move all around the image
Great job
Peter
Thanks so much Peter, I'm glad you like it. The location is Gandhi's choice.

Best. Bill
Well, Bill, I cropped it a little. I was torn between doing that and having him dead center in the composition. I was just happy to be able to catch this one with the doorknob and him at the same time. Perhaps I'll look at the crop some more. Thanks for the thoughtful comments.
Brilliant shot and a perfect take on the WA, Al. You can't go wrong with a shot of kids or dogs, and, boy, did you nail this shot of your dog. What a great expression! Bravo!

All the best,
Endre
Wow! "Brilliant" is a huge compliment Endre. Thank you so much and though I know you have other kinds of pets, I'm glad he speaks to you.
