p.2 #1 · Tamron 70-300 LD Macro glass for 300D

After almost two weeks of deliberating over it, I am ready to take the plunge (ouch!) and go ahead to order the 70-200f4 L glass for my 300D.

Before I phone up my local photo shop, there is one last thing that escaped me earlier which I hope will not be a problem. My question is whether the 70-200 lense will block the flash from the 420EX Speedlite at its closest focusing distance (which is

Hi William,

Your 420 shoud be fine with your 70-200, my 550 is fine with my 70-200!!!

Hi Antje,

I have heard too many good things about the glass to expect less. Only thing is the 70-200 seems to be in backorder and I have to wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive
