Nice and clean! Pretty noisefree I must say, so I guess it
wasn't really as dark as this. I like the low view point and
wide angle view as icons for bad dreams. Great contrast
from the white light!

Thanks Jane. I vaguely remember an entry something like this a while back too. I was hoping this was somehow "different" enough not to be considered a rehash. I was motivated by the multiple light lines on the floor and their play adjacent wall.

Thank-you for your comments. Actually, this was a 30 second exposure at ISO 50, and it was quite dark!
Wonderful shot, Richard. Great take on the WA. After the contest is over you ought to try adding a faint apparation in the dark background. That would make it really spooky.

Thanks for the positive feedback. You know, my wife and I walk past this door every night on our way to bed. Please don't put scary ideas in my head
This is our kids' bathroom. Even though it was redone over two years ago, it was only last week that I noticed this pattern. I thought "someday it might be worth taking a picture of that". Then this week's theme came up and it seemed a good fit. My family is getting quite used to me photographing odd things around the house.
Richard,
I complement you on a shot that fits the assignment and is well captured. You have nailed the lighting, focus and the assignment. You deserve every vote that you have received and then some.
Nice job!
Tom
