I was thinking of using an angle grinder to dull some edges with the same effect of shooting sparks. This conversion really make the sparks bite.
Whew. Glad I beat you to it!! Doubly glad Robert went with the strawberries!
Jane.....you captured those sparks brilliantly! I was looking for your original entry that I saw the other day (that was good too) but this has lots of great action!
I see why you were missed. This is great. I would like to learn how to do that technique with b & w while bringing the color to what you want us to see.. you think maybe you can pm me and let me know a starting point on how? Love this shot.
You seem to be sticking with this one, so I dare commenting now
Great picture! The b&w conversion makes a very metallic appearance.
The colored sparks are a great contrast, of course. Well, your entries
are always cutting edge, aren't they?

Best,

Yepper--although I love getting your comments on each and EVERY (Robert is cringing right now) entry, I think I am finished for the week. I appreciate your comments.

Thanks Patty. I sometimes am very conflicted about my entries and post one and then change my mind. I had a tough time this week because I really did like the black and white with all of of the curved and straight edges. Oh well. Life is fun
