Hmmm, I intend to, but just don't seem to get to shoot great wild life that often. I'm trying to find good locations for birds, especially waders, within a few hours of home that I can get to regularly.
You did a better job of MF with a 20D than I would likely do with a FF viewfinder!
I'm glad Fred "migrated" this to the front of the board, as I missed it back in April.
Congrats to your shots - in fact the 1.4x extender works nicely together with the 100-400 mm lens, especially under good light conditions. I also got this combo to work reliably with AF after using the tape trick on the extender....
Is it just me, or are the fledgling's seemingly much larger (first shot) in comparison to the adult Anhinga? I am not familiar with this species, so correct me if I'm wrong. Good work BTW, it's quite tough to shoot with that set-up.
