I wanted to try something different. There are a lot of great scenic shots, but I hope someone will enjoy a new twist.

All comments are appreciated.

I know its not a perfect merge of all the shots, but I did my best to make it as seamless as possible.

Tanya.... I love your creativity! The close-up of the girl seems to balance the building perspective to the left. Great job and good luck!

Five Tanya’s! Now that is multi-tasking. Wait, there are six – someone has to take the picture? I have once tried stitching two images together and was not too successful and I dare not try 5. It looks like you were up for a challenge and did admirably well. Good luck!

I like it. Very creative. A very pretty subject too. How can you lose.

Thanks John and Byron for the nice comments.

Byron you are right, there were six and they were all Tanya's. This was done by setting the camera on a tripod and using the timer, so I was the photographer as well. This is the roof of my condo building and I kept hoping that no one would come up and see me taking ridiculous pictures of myself. ;-)

Hey this is cool, Tanya. Reminds me of that bill murray movie, 'groundhog day', can't seem to get away from ya!... Very nice creative idea, and putting this together. Mike

Hey Tanya,

I like it! Very original!! I'm in Canada, too and I swear I know that building. Where is it?

Cheers,
Hugh

Tanya, very creative, very well done, and beautiful! Just think - you could have used this concept for the "self-portrait" WA and had five times the impact of all the other entries! (Especially using the 1000 pixel width)

Thanks Michael, for the comments about the picture and the subject ;-)

Glad you liked the shot Marj. Isn't this a great forum. I've learned so much from everyone.

Thanks Alan and Mike (I'll have to watch groundhog day again ;-)

Greetings to a fellow Canadian, Hugh. This shot was taken in Toronto (kind of like Winnepeg, but no so cold ;-)

Thanks for you comments Jess. Funny you say that, I had thought about this idea for the self portrait weekly assignment, but I came up with it too late and didn't get a chance to pull it off before the deadline. The extra pixels allowed for the panorama gave me some space to work with, and I think that helped. ;-)

Top notch. The lighting, color of the building and colors of what you are wearing all work together very well. Very creative.
