Tough call but this one has to be my favorite for 2 reasons. Firstly it was taken on the first day of my 'once in a life time' trip to Canada and symbolises the holiday for me. Secondly its one of the few that I 'nailed' perfectly first time!
I don't think I've ever posted in this forum... but I never really shoot wildlife.... anyway.
a purple finch decided to nest in a hanging basket on my in-laws front porch. went and grabbed my RB67 loaded with TMAX and a ladder and got this shot.
it's not up to par as some of the stuff in this thread, but I liked it.
Thanks Laura for starting this fantastic thread, it's been a pleasure to view. Here is my meager best. I chose this shot only because it's one of the few BIF shots I managed without clipping the wings and as you can see, the bird helped.
In keeping with the baby waterfowl theme on this page, here is my personal favorite. Not for the technical but for the moment. Goslings, roughly 1 month old. Taken with a 60mm lense. Shhhhh..everyone is sleeping!
