great mood, and great feel, the sil. doesn't seem forced or out of place . . . at first i thought that all the space on the left was too much, but it adds to the feel . . . looks like a relatively long exposure . . . the water is nice and smoothe
Thanks for the comment, I left space on the left to show the destination, the expose was I think 250, I will have to look back, it was hand held from a moving Ferry .. glad you like it.

Wonderful shot! You seem to always have these idyllic scenes and we are the beneficiaries It looks as though this ferry is very old. Is it? Where do you go to/from
Jane
Hi Jane, the Ferry has been running since the early 1800s, this one I am on is maybe 30 years old. The one you might see once in awhile that is a paddle wheeler was built in 1938. It travels between Northern Kentucky and Ohio west side of town.
I take this as a short cut to work on days when weather is good for pictures.
It is one of the few times a day I can time to take some pictures. Family and work keep me busy, like most people. Thats why I always carry a camera with me, you never know when a moment you want to capture will happen. Best regards, Dennis
