Like the pic, if I might ask, what focal length did you use. I like the way the clouds almost look as though they are bending. Keep it up. Would enjoy seeing more of a series as someone else mentioned. Good luck with the contest.Mark

Thank you Mark,
I have taken a couple of shots of the same figure but havent got around to processing it yet. Will definitely do so next week after the holidays and post.
I used the wide end of my 18-70mm kit lens to have the wide angle effect. 18mm end plus polarizer gives that nice grading of blue in the sky. although the bending of cluds you have mentioned is because of natural cloud formation. i dont think there is any noticable distortion.

I agree, really cool shot. Wonderful entry. You might want to change the horizontal size to 640 pixels to comply with the rules...
Christian
Image should have 640 pixels for its longest dimension which will be the height in the portrait orientation.
Thank you for your comment Christian. I am glad you liked the image.

I appreciate your comments. Thanks.
I definately didn't think there was distortion. Just trying to figure out if it was natural or from a super wide fish eye lens, the way it seems to bend some objects. I like it and you got my vote. Keep it up. I just joined the forum but am thinking of these assignments to try and post some of my own. The MA - White on White has just got me preplexed. Trying to come up with a good idea under that title is tough. I don't think I could beat any already submitted so I am not even going to try. I was hoping for a new one but that got extended so I will try the WA now until the new MA comes out.
