p.1 #1 · #78: Green tea

Green tea is growing in nice shapes - the shape and therewith macro-texture is automatically created by the year long harvest. As soon as leaves start to stick out from thr bushes - they are ready to be harvested. Tea harvest is done by hand.....

Enjoy the submission.

Laupi,

I love this shot. It is very graphical, almost abstract. The colors, the perspective, and the compositon, all work to make it a very pleasing image in my eyes.

Laupi... I really like this photograph! It looks like a colored pencil fine art drawing.

Cool shot Laupi - I love the graphic nature (as mentioned by Mr Cote!) too.

Reminds me of the way to tell the difference between a green tea bag and any other variety of tea bag. To ascertain try this: If you try and blow through a tea bag containing green tea it makes a high-pitched sound whereas interestingly all other varieties or blends make no sound whatesoever. I kid you not, it's called the Earl Grey Whistle Test.

I'm sure that will only make sense to British readers, but I couldn't resist.

Laupi, I love this shot. I am partial to shots taken from high above and this one fits the bill.

Laupi, thanks once again for a great image of a scene that I would not get to see were it not for photography.

I really like this shot. While the 'obvious' thing to do for this assignment is to go "macro" and look at something in super-fine detail, I love that this shot shows great texture from a distant viewpoint.
