This blows me away! It has been so long since I've been through the Lincoln or Holland tunnels that I can only compare with the Baltimore Harbor tunnel, and I don't know if I've ever taken a bus through any of them. What a great image you grabbed!
Thanks for checking it out and commenting Jess. I never really pay attention to the tunnels as it always seems I am the driver. This time I saw the tunnel in a different way and from a different angle. I'm glad you like it.

The more i study the image the more I like it Christian. The discernable bricks on the sides are very nicely detailed, the monotone works nicely.

I spoke to the Port Authority of NY this morning and have permission to post this photograph. As explained to me; If I was walking around taking pictures, I would likely be questioned by police but as I was riding on a bus, seeing something everyone sees everyday anyway, It would not be a violation.
