I see your point, Jeff, but I think those ideas are more the technique used than an actual subject matter or concept. Any topic could be portrayed using your suggested techniques. I think the topics are OK, although I think that more difficult concepts could be challenging, too!
Sorrow
Fashion (strange, weird fashion perhaps)
Autumn feelings
Low photos (photos from the perspective of, say a dog/cat)
Fatigue
Poverty
Grass
Rain
You could always combine a motif, like the above with some technique as mentioned by Jeff, like city life - long exposures. or autumn feeling - multiple exposures and so on...
I really don’t understand the Mid-Air in the Vote for MA 05 theme. As a pilot, the term Mid-Air has a very tragic loss of life meaning. Does it mean something else?
