Not that I am a prude but I little warning that you are linking NUDES should be REQUIRED on this forum and considered common decency. I just opened this link while at work, last thing I need is to get fired today.

I'm a little puzzled actually... I did put a '1' and '2' next to those to keep them from popping open unexpectedly, and something about nudes in brackets. I wonder where that stuff went.
Well, here's my first attemp at using my Photoflex mini Q39 LiteDome softbox on my Canon 580ex speedlite. I used the 2 foot off-shoe camera cord and held the softbox to the camera left while shooting with my right hand.

Thanks Mufutau. Yes, this is the famous PFILTZ softbox. I really hope Photoflex sends him a cheque every month for the amount of sales they receive because of him. Haha.

Thanks Cris. I really should have used a small reflector on the second one. With the softbox in my left and my camera in the right, I would have had to use my foot to hold the reflector though. Haha. Thanks for the comment.
Terry, it refers to using a strobe off camera with a softbox.
The plitz method incorporates more than just the lighting, it's the model's pose, the background exposure, setup, vignetting, and etc.
Here is a link to a zip with the workflow zipped. http://www.keepsakephotography.us/workflow/Workflow.zip
You may not need the light stand from the above kit, you could just use your hand to hold the light (mini softbox; not heavy) while you use the other to shoot the camera.
