p.1 #1 · Lexar 80x Memory card discontinued

I just heard that Lexar is not manufacturing the Lexar 80x 2gb card. They are going to a 133x speed.
My question is this is the only card I use on the Canon 20D. Can anyone give me another high quality card in this price range. I have heard the Sandisk Ultra and or Extreme III cards are good? Thanks John

i was primarily a lexar 80x 2gb cf user and i still use the cards when i need them , now im shooting with sandisk 4gb extreme III's there great cards, you might want to check out sandisk's ultra II cards , they are about the same speed as lexars 80x cards and they are reasonably priced. i feel the best cards out right now are lexar and sandisk

Good riddance! Mine was a sluggard in a Canon body compared to the 60x Ultra II.

I keep losing the odd images when using Lexar cards. Don't know why. Even after they (Lexar) replaced it (several times). I tried (and lost several images) on Canon 300D, 20D and 30D.
