Hi, I'm just starting to play with panoramas and am wondering if it's worth shelling out for the full version of ptgui (I'd been hoping to find freebie software on the web!). The trial version certainly seems to do a good job, but I'd be grateful to hear other people's experience of it, or recommdations for other stitching/ panorama software. I don' think I can manage to do it in PhotoShop.
Very very good software. Worth the cost - especially since they upgrade so often for free.
Works really well even with panned handheld shots or shots on tripod that are not rotated around the nodal point. Of course you get better results with a proper tripod setup.
Fantastic app. I used up my trial & just haven;t gotten the paid version yet...haven't had any panos for a long time. I've also started looking a Hugin which is another GUI using the same libraries, you might want to check it out as well. The main thing is using the panotools libraries, I haven't seen any others as effective.
