· Hoya or Kenko?
I've used Hoya filters for some time and have been happy enough.
As I can get Kenko filters for a much lower price, can anyone give a quick review of their quality.
If they are good as Hoya, then I will try them, but only if. If anyone has used both I would be keen to hear your views.
I am looking at UV filters.
Cheers

From what I remember they are identical products, just different names --hence the THK -- Tokina, Hoya, Kenko.

THK is the distribution company not the manufacturer
now Hoya may make elements for tokina and supply glass for kenko too but their best products carry only their own name.

I still shoot film, and use Hoya, Tiffen, Kenko, Harrison & Harrison and Spiratone (now defunct, I think). I really can't see any practical difference.
