· EF-S Macro on a EOS 1N! Works like a dream
Just thought I would share this for others wanting to use this on a full frame.
Jeremy
nice.
seems so obvious now, but I never thought about it. I use the 60 probably 95% for macro, so who cares about loss of infinity focus.

· EF-S Macro on a EOS 1N! Works like a dream
For all you 5d owners and those interested, here are some shots of the EF-S Macro + EF12 tube on a 5D.
Images are supplied by Rob. Hosted by me:

The furthest distance away from the subject possible

Notice the dark edges on the last photo - I find this strange for this occour as I can see NO evidence of the vignetting at infinity focus on my 1N.
If other's have some more examples, feel free to post them.

Was a lens hood used for that last shot of the watch (as shown in the camera photos)?
There was no vignetting with any of my EFS60 + 5D photo's (but I was using the EF25II and no hood).

Rob has said to me in his email the Hood did NOT cause cause the vignetting.
Also I think it is important to note, he says:
"I didn't get any errors with my 5D everything worked fine, even AF!"
This makes me reconsider my thoughts re: Canon locking out EF-S on the 5D.
I just took a photo with my EF-S Macro and 1N set to AI Servo Auto Focus - worked VERY well.
It was tracking some ants running around very well, accurate and USM fast.
