Had to break out the remote shutter release and tripod for this one. I chose to post this b/w conversion because I felt that the motion in the foreground was more emphasized than in the original color version.

John - I appreciate your commenting. I was a little disappointed in the 'blankness' of the sky, but it was the best shot I had so I went with it. It's nice to see that you liked it.
Thanks Robert - I appreciate the comment. They are quite fascinating to me as well - and as I experienced during this shoot, the sheer power when up close can be quite over-whelming. Even though you know you are at a safe distance, your instincts tell you "get out of here!"
