My first weekly assignment at FM. It didnt turn out quite like I pictured it in my head but it was also a LOT harder than I anticipated. The bears outside the plate were coated in a melted chocolate bar which cause the bears themselves to start to melt. The kept falling over as soon as I grabbed my camera!!

Very creative, I love the bright colors and composition Your effort really shows, good take on the WA. Your first WA ? Wow, can't wait to see more. I really prefer chocolate covered peanuts to gummy bears

Wow that gave me a good chuckle. Very nice job. If you ever need to melt chocolate again, you might try to find some fondue variety because the melting point should be lower than a bar of chocolate. Very nice job.

I think it turned out excellent..

If its the hot chocolate which was causing the meltdown of the bears, try using chocolate syrup

Love it. It's almost like it should be a Salvador Dali painting. Pleasanty surreal. It also reminds me of the Dr. Seuss story of The Sneaches.

Superb idea very fun and creative !
There is just something that bother me. A kind of "white glow" eating up the details and maybe a little too tight crop.

But I sure like it a lot.

I like the light, it has this clean athmosphere of a production line and the glow gives it at the same time something a little surreal

Thanks again for all the kind words, people. I'm really pleased its been so well received!

To the poster who commented on the blurring effect, I find its a love it or hate it thing. I think it adds a surreal, almost sterile clean-room effect. But I will go back and try it again without the blur, just to see if it changes my mind.

Great photo Eric. If you were having problems with the gummy bears perhaps sticking them on a tray in the freezer straight after dipping would have helped? Then when you have them all ready take your time to set them up.
