So, as promised a few days ago my second report from the Caribbean.
Again, I think of all of you suffering from the terrible weather conditions
(it is snowing back home) as you can imagine
For those who missed the first report, here it is:
and a personal message to Glenn who proposed to replace me:
Don't come here: it is rainy most of the time (huh, at least 5 minutes a day)
Luckily I had my camera with me to take this one:

Hope you will enjoy the tour. I'll be home somewhere next week to show some more...
Sorting the pictures will be quite a challenge, I already shot more than 1000 pics here.
I really like my new tool... but I'll need some help to find the optimal AF settings, but this will be the subject of another post when I'll have time.
Thanks for watching.
Before I forget, since I combined pictures horizontally, I will post one reply per picture group, so that everybody understands how to scroll. This has been an issue with the previous post. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As you can see life is pretty bad and difficult here...
Hope you liked it.
If nobody stops me, there will be a third and final series....
Guy
Guy, your images are beautiful. Really great work capturing the essence of each location. Very well balanced series, some detail and close-up work, but also enough to give us a feel for the bigger picture. Outstanding. If I walked home from a trip with these types of images I'd be ecstatic. Looking forward to series III. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
I won't stop you Guy. Your series 1 and 2 have been my little mental get away
I must know which lens you took that Rhum factory photo with. Did you use a polarizer, it's a stunning photo!
You know Guy, it's one thing to see a fellow with really nice gear. It is universes different to see somebody make whatever gear they have absolutely sing to it's peak performance! You my friend, have and do both . Absolutely incredible shots!! Beautiful work Guy.

Guy, a very enjoyable tour, excellent images. I hope you're planning on a book You really give us a wonderful view and 'feel' of your travels. Very well done.

Thanks for the nice comments. The pictures at the factory have mostly been shot with the Tokina 12-24, only 2 of them if I remember well with the 18-70. No filters used.

Thanks a lot for those comments. I feel a bit ashamed... I still have thousands of things to learn about that camera...

Thanks Jack, as you could see, I couldn't spot any train here... I don't think they even have one... the island is too small
