5D body NIB $3,368.58 CDN!!!

Thats another $300 or so cheaper than what i saw about 2 weeks ago!!!!

I wonder how low it will drop before leveling off for a while...

it's a bid, not a buy it now price... can't really use a start bid price as reference

And the hefty tax in Canada will push the price 15% higher, not that attractive after all even if the price is confirmed.

the bid states only one tax because its in AB... and taxes are a fact of life when buying either locally or from abroad... unless you are buying used from within the country... unfortunately... but even with taxes... if the camera indeed did sell for that price its the lowest Canadian price i've seen so far...

what are prices like in China?

I've seen a few local ebay stores selling 5D's for $4190-$4500(Au) and a Hong kong dealer offering them for $3850(Au). Thats a huge saving compared to Canon Australias $5499rrp!!
