I remember seeing a thread within the last couple of months dealing with focus(probably low light) with a 1DM2 or 1DM2n. One poster had a number of options that he used to speed up the focus... one I remember dealt with 7 point expansion. I tried searching for the thread, but came up with nothing. If anyone happens to know the thread... please point me in that direction. Thanks!
Not sure which thread, but in any event probably better to read this document. There's also good info in the "Canon autofocus" thread pinned at the top of this forum.
And FWIW, after considerable experimentation I concluded that I get the most keepers in AI servo *not* using 7-point expansion, i.e., leaving CF17 at 0, and using the center focus point.
