I was just bored, and checked the clearing room of the 24mm TS-E f/3.5. Apparently my 1.4x and 2x was able to clear both tilt and shift at MAX. So you could essentially have a 34mm or a 48. And if you have both 67mm
Since it's manual focus anyway...
BTW, my 1dmk2 allow 3.5 apeture with the 2x + 24mm TS-E....so go figure.
Yup, I just figured this out the other day myself. Strange about the aperture not being reported correctly however since the Canon TCs definitely correctly report the apertures when used with the Canon teles as intended. Probably some sort of ghost in the EF-lens communication protocol.
Needless to say, I wasn't too impressed with the IQ with the converter on the 24...
