Nope, sent the D2X back as I had a few issues with the condition. It was a nikon dealer demo.
Happened to see the D200 last night while up with my son and thought it was worth the $200 premium as I didn't preorder and I wanted the camera. So, there you go, there is your answer. I planned to get the D2X, had a few issues and cameta took it back, while sorting out what I wanted to do I saw the D200 and grabbed it.
Ok.. well.. all you people buying D200's can help me out. I had sold my D100 back up camera with expectations to buy a D200 and use my D1X for the very few light shoots I had over winter.
Of course, my four way controler falls off almost immediately. Then gets lost.
So...those that want to buy that D200 and minimize your cost. I need a D1X/D100 combo for $1300 (which is all I had saved for the D200). It is asking a lot, but while you might not make a fortune in your sale--- karma lasts forever!!
Just made my first trip "to the dark side" and bought me one of these. It is my first Nikon. I am IMPRESSED. Someone is about get a great deal on a phenomenal camera. This is a good price!
