Well people I went out a bought that Coolpix 8400 today. Now I know this is a SLR forum so don't beat me up, but I just had to post and say that if anyone is thinking about one of these little cameras...get it. There's not much about it to disappoint. It's not a shirt pocket camera but it's not that big either and handles very well. When I first hung it around my neck it reminded me of the days when I had a range-finder as the size and weight are similar. Any way, I like and it'll make a great tourist type camera. (As they are now discontinued you can haggle a good price too.) Ahh...nothing like a new toy...gotta go play!
