how bout the D1 also. found one that reads only D70 files. Opanda IExif 1.8. where is the frame count shown in the info John K

on IExif 2.25 the for both my D70 and my D2h, there is an entry for "Total Number of Shutter Releases for Camera". It is located towards the bottom of the exif information.

If you're on a Mac, you can use EXIF Viewer. It's free and it reads D1X and D70 files. Also others.
