Wow, I was tempted by the last offer, and then my hopes were crushed because it expired....and now there's a new one. But I don't really need the 85 1.8. But it's such a great portrait lens and I love portraiture....I guess I could sell my 28-135 IS......
I also have the 28-135 to be honest with you ,I think you would be sorry if you sold it. I find just as my new 85 f1.8 is a great lens, it has it's place, just as the 28-135 does. They are two unique lenses which have their place, my vote would be keep your 28-135 and get the 85 if you have a need for a great prime.
I like the 28-135, but it is definitely my least used lens, especially since I got a 20D with the 1.6 crop. I use my 70-200 when I need length, my 50 most of the time, my 18-55 kit when I need wide (sadly, the only wide lens I have for the 20D). I probably need something wide more than I need an 85. But I love portraiture, so the lovely bokeh and short dof on the 85 is calling to me!

I thought this sounded like a good deal and they have a great rep.
onecall.com has 5d in stock w/ free three day fed-ex delivery and with the coupon code SAVEMORE you get an additional $200 of the camera making it $3099 shipped.
Also thought that I would throw in that with the same coupon you can get $400 off a 1ds Mark II with free 3 day shipping for like $6949.
The more you spend the more you get discounted.
Hope this helps.
Are you sure about this OneCall deal on the 5D? I tried it and it said that the 5D did not qualify.

Thanks,

"instant coupons are not applicable to sales of Bose, Boston Acoustics, Mitsubishi, Niles, Polk Audio, Velodyne, digital SLR cameras (over $2999), camera lenses and competition price matches"
Strange though, the $200 coupon was listed with the 5D a couple of days ago when it was out of stock. Does anyone notice that they sell the DG-E4 grip for $340, which is $100 more than BH? Onecall is more and more like one of those shady online stores. Return and exchange would be a nightmare.
