Haven't posted here before but would appreciate some feedback.
I have just acquired the above - it's a bit beaten up cosmetically, but the glass is spotless. A new lens just isn't in the budget so I thought I give this a go. Got it from 'you know where' No auto of course, so manual exposure and focus (which for this blind old bat is going to be interesting). Tripod used for all these.
I was keen to get out after work to try it out, but of course a storm passed over the city and it was pouring with rain! It cleared eventually and I got these...
I'm pleased with the results - what do you think? Looking forward to taking some tomorrow in the daylight.
They look great to me! I am always a sucker for a good night shot, especially of places I have yet to visit. If I had to pick a favorite it would be Brisbane, as there is just so much to look at and study, but every one is just superb. Looks like you will be having a great time with that new gem you picked up!

Brisbane is very pretty at night with the river giving lots of nice reflections. I think I might be using this lens a lot!
Alright, this may seem odd to say but seeing these images of the water makes me want to carve through them on a water ski. Oh my, that water is so rich and perfect, very well done!!! Your lens has definantly done its job. Rich color is one of the main motivators for me to get out there and shoot....Geeze these are so nice. Ok, I am now motivated to find an access point to shoot the river front of Portland. Rain rain go away,

Know what you mean about water skiing... everytime I see a really calm stretch of water I can just feel myself slicing through it on skis (not that I've done that for many, many years!).

Of course the only exif I have is the exposure - forgot that I wouldn't have details and didn't take notes grrr.
#1 - 13 sec
#2 - 32 sec
#3 - 5 sec
#4 - 30 sec
I was using mainly f8 and f11. I did try f16 and f22 once, I think for the CBD shots.
So the short answer is 'could be anything'. Sheesh. I'll keep my notebook handy next time.
