I just recieved my d1x, ebay purchase and its mint. So sexy it is, that it sleeps next to me at night. Anywayz I'm really excited, I'm upgrading from a d70, and even thought it was a great camera, I like the feel of the D1x. I'm not sure though if it has the buffer upgrade, when I push the shutter halfway down it says 21 remaining. I think that is the buffer upgrade. Anyways, just sharing with all of you my excitment.

As much as I love the D70 and having lots of fun with it, I just miss the big bad rig so much so I have it near my desk in my office to just play with every now and then. I have a couple rolls of Delta left and am saving them (not that film is going out of style or anything, I could just go get some more lol).
Very exciting and I hope you have a blast with it. They do feel very different and I love that feel.
