p.4 #1 · Any NPS members here?

Daniel you would think so wouldn't you. But after doing this for 10 years as a dean and 19 years as a teacher I've found that the teacher/official isn't always right. (I coached baseball and basketball for ten and five years respectively.)
You need to realize that although the teacher/ official thinks they are definitely correct, there are always 2 sides to every issue. I've learned that in most cases both parties present part of the truth to what really happened. The rest is only their skewed perspective based on their past experiences and formulated believes on how someone should/ would act in a given situation.
That's why I can see your side as an intelligent person (not just a student). I'm sure you got laid out pretty hard and it not only hurt your gear but your physical body and your ego as well. I'm sure you feel he was going after you with his blow.
I'm sure the ref. would feel you were in his way and he did nothing wrong. Within all that is the full truth. Finding it is the tough part.
The biggest problem for me is officials and parents who think their poop doesn't stink and they are the only one w/ a valid opinion. Refs, especially younger ones, are the worst....

Anthony I would never be so rude as to say someone in particular had never made it.
I say what I think and I am really sorry that you feel I had directed them at you.
Heart felt appology!
A wise man said to me when I was 15 years old and just got my first job in a newspaper on saturday "Take them by the jugular".
I have never forgotten that to this day!
There are so many lame kids out there with no sense of competition or any real idea of how hard you have to work to get the the destination and it drives me nuts.
When I see Daniels stuff I get that warm fuzzy feeling that it only takes one to keep the dream alive.
I guess in a way his never say die attitude reminds me of someone I knew 23 years ago.
Yes you can have what you want but some people just walk past without seeing it. It's only those that walk lifes path looking through the shadows for opportunities that truely excel in this world of ours.
Perhaps I am one of them perhaps I am not and perhaps one day I will be! All I know is that everyday I try to be the best that I can possibly be!
And I see nothing wrong with that!
Cheers,
Jasin.

Apology accepted...although I guess not needed.
By the way, your work is truely awesome...I meant it when I wrote...you made it. I think I could enjoy taking the kind of images you do. It looks much more fun than the stuff my new mentor has me doing. (High school dances and football games). But I will get to enjoy this weekend. Daughter's homecoming and a dance performance w/ her dance company. I love shooting the company performing. Esp her. And also anything she actually asks me to shoot. Which will be a parade and a football game this time (her boyfriend is the starting middle line backer on the varsity.)
