Thoughts on this one? I cropped a little thats all.

Didnt have my new 100 -400 at the time just the basic 70 - 300!
Hope to see them again soon.

#1 looks friendly (except for the blood all over his face!) Interesting shots- definately tells a story. Where were these taken?

Just gos to show, you don't have to have an L lens to get nice pictures, Hows the 100-400 treating you

You should clone in a canon 1 series with a 500, laying there next to the kill.

No, belay that......make it Nikon gear--to serve as a warning to Hicks.

Are these zoo shots? These guys are so endangered, I was unaware that they were in zoos in the UK...

These were taken in the Madikwe reserve on the Botswana/South Africa border
Only 2000 of these dogs left in the wild. Im based in SA for another 6 months.

We got there just as they had driven a wilderbeast to the fence line (very clever)
15 minutes later not much left of the main course. We didnt see them bring it down but as they fed 5 would stand lookout and the others feed. Then switch.

Ive only just got the 100 - 400 but so far very good. Heavy as expected.
