I thought some of the sports shooters here would be interested in seeing a soccer shot done with the new Leica DMR. We don't have a Leica digital SLR forum here, so I figured I would shoot some sports and post it here.

This was at 200 ISO, f2.8, 1/750th and a 400mm lens.

A picute is a picture no matter what camera you use, it is just a tool but a very important one.
A nice shot. Do you have some more of them?

Here are a couple more. I didn't shoot the whole game. I just got the digital back and I only have one battery. It went dead in the second half.

This guy just scored and the celebration after.

Here is another fairly decent shot. I need to adjust the color on this one, as it is a bit yellow.

All of these have been staight out of the Camera as DNG files, just cropped in PhotosShop.

You are quick enough to catch that goal shot. That Leica seems to focus fast.

It is manual focus only. I just use my eyes and my hand to focus it.

These were manual focus?

Wow, it would take me 10 seconds to manually focus that sharp.

The images do appear to have a green-yellow cast to them.

The images haven't had any color adjustment done to them. It was bright overcast and the green asto turf is probably reflecting up and creating the cast.

Here is another shot cropped in slightly. I was near the other end of the field and even a 400mm gets a bit short.
